About The Role

The Subpack & Frozen Operations Associate is responsible for accurately and efficiently subpacking frozen, liquid, and dry products while maintaining strict compliance with food safety, quality, and cleanliness standards. This role supports order fulfillment, frozen product picking, inventory accuracy, and light assembly/kitting operations across ambient, refrigerated, and frozen environments.

Essential Responsibilities

· Perform subpacking of frozen, liquid, and dry products according to job specifications and quality standards.

· Maintain compliance with SQF, food safety, and clean room procedures.

· Properly handle and monitor temperature-sensitive products throughout subpacking and picking processes.

· Inspect products for defects, accuracy, and conformance to specifications prior to packaging.

· Package materials into appropriate containers (envelopes, cartons, boxes) following packing requirements.

· Examine completed packages to ensure accuracy, neatness, and compliance with company standards.

· Accurately pick frozen product orders from freezer storage.

· Perform physical inventory counts to verify stock accuracy.

· Stock shelf locations, bulk pick locations, and supply areas as needed.

Secondary Responsibilities

· Assist with picking and packing client orders for shipment.

· Support kitting and assembly projects as assigned.

· Assist other Project Fulfillment functions as operational needs require.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED preferred.

· 0–3 months of related experience in warehouse, production, or food handling environments preferred.

· Basic mathematical skills.

· Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions.

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.

· Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

Physical Requirements

· Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching.

· Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling and packaging materials.

· Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds regularly.

· Ability to work in freezer and refrigerated environments for extended periods.

· Visual ability including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment

· Exposure to wet or humid conditions and extreme cold/freezer environments.

· Exposure to moving mechanical parts and elevated work areas.

· Warehouse temperatures may vary depending on outdoor conditions.

· Moderate noise level.

Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

· Closed-toe shoes required.

· Cold weather protective gear provided when working in freezer environments.

This is a full-time, in-person position with a Monday–Friday schedule, consisting of 8-hour daytime shift.
