Sales and Marketing Director

About RESCO

RESCO is a marketing services and fulfillment company based in Hudson, WI. We partner with brands to handle their marketing execution, fulfillment, sourcing, and print. When a brand’s field marketing or trade marketing team needs to get materials produced, kitted, stored, and shipped to the right locations on time, we’re the team that makes it happen. Our culture is built on three values: We Honestly Care, We Push for Better, and We Don’t Miss.

Summary

We’re looking for a Sales & Marketing Director to drive new client acquisition. This is a growth role. RESCO currently serves a focused roster of clients, and we’re building toward a much larger portfolio. The right person will own the process of finding, engaging, and closing new brand clients who need a reliable partner for their marketing execution and fulfillment.

This is not a high-volume transactional sales role. Our best client relationships start with understanding a brand’s pain points and showing them we can solve real operational problems. You’ll need to be the kind of person who builds trust before asking for the business.

This is an individual contributor role with significant ownership of new business development, with the opportunity to help shape future sales strategy and team growth.

What You’ll Do

• Identify and pursue new client opportunities

• Build relationships with field marketing managers, trade marketing teams, shopper marketing leads, and brand operations personnel at mid-size and growing brands

• This role centers on external engagement with prospects and clients, including in-person meetings, industry events, and tradeshows (such as Expo West, Groceryshop, and Path to Purchase Summit), where you will actively prospect and build lasting relationships.

• Develop and execute outreach strategies that position RESCO as a go-to partner for marketing execution and fulfillment

• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing, with support from RESCO leadership

• Represent RESCO’s values and capabilities in every conversation, putting the client’s needs first

• Collaborate with the client and operations teams to ensure smooth handoffs and successful onboarding for new clients

• Contribute to RESCO’s marketing efforts, including content, case studies, and thought leadership that support the sales process

• This role is based in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, with a majority of time spent engaging with clients and prospects outside of a traditional office setting. Expect regular travel to industry events and client meetings, with heavier travel around tradeshow season

Who You Are

The ideal candidate has direct experience in one or more of these areas:

• 5+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development with a proven track record of generating and closing new business

• Field marketing, trade marketing, or shopper marketing at a brand (you’ve been the buyer and know the day-to-day challenges)

• Selling marketing services, print, fulfillment, promotional products, or POP/display solutions into brand marketing teams

• Regional or territory sales for a marketing services provider, print management company, or fulfillment operation

Beyond background, you should also bring:

• A consultative, relationship-first approach to selling. You lead with understanding, not a pitch deck.

• Comfortable working tradeshows and industry events, including initiating conversations and following up consistently

• The ability to explain complex fulfillment and execution capabilities in plain, practical language that resonates with busy marketing managers

• Genuine curiosity about how brands operate and what makes their marketing programs succeed or fall apart

• Self-direction and accountability. This role has real ownership and real autonomy.

• A network of contacts in brand marketing, CPG, retail, or related industries is a strong plus

Why RESCO

You’re joining a company with a strong operational foundation and a clear growth trajectory. RESCO’s reputation is built on execution, and our clients stay because we deliver. This role gives you the chance to be a central part of scaling a business that’s already proven its model and is ready to bring it to more brands.
