SUMMARY

Drive profitable growth within RESCO’s Food & Beverage vertical by building qualified pipeline and securing new client partnerships. This is a true hunter role focused on disciplined outbound prospecting, consultative selling, and closing high-quality business aligned with RESCO’s pricing strategy. This position plays a key role in expanding the Food & Beverage vertical, strengthening RESCO’s market presence, and contributing to the development of a scalable and repeatable growth strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

New Business Development & Prospecting

- Build and execute a targeted outbound prospecting strategy within the Food & Beverage industry

- Lead discovery conversations and advance qualified opportunities from initial outreach through signed agreement

- Maintain disciplined pipeline management and consistent follow-up within RESCO systems

- Partner with the Vertical Lead and Client Managers to identify expansion opportunities and support overall account growth

Sales Execution & Closing

- Conduct consultative sales engagements to uncover business needs and align RESCO solutions

- Collaborate cross-functionally to scope, price, and structure profitable opportunities

- Close high-quality new business aligned with RESCO’s pricing and profitability standards

- Ensure a smooth and structured transition to Client Services following close

Market Engagement, Reporting & Growth Support

- Contribute vertical-specific messaging insights and outreach strategies

- Develop content concepts and direction for marketing campaigns, social posts, email outreach, and sales collateral, partnering with Creative Services for execution

- Represent RESCO at targeted industry events and cultivate strategic industry relationships

- Maintain disciplined activity, pipeline, and revenue tracking within RESCO systems

- Provide market intelligence and contribute to continuous improvement of a scalable, repeatable growth process for the Food & Beverage vertical

QUALIFICATIONS

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Sales, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered

- 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience with demonstrated success in prospecting and closing new accounts

- Experience within the Food & Beverage industry strongly preferred (foodservice, CPG, ingredients, distribution, 3PL/logistics)

- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills

- Ability to identify operational challenges, articulate ROI/value, and connect RESCO solutions to client needs

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Self-motivated, disciplined in prospecting, and accountable for results

- Professional and collaborative across teams and departments

This is a full-time, in-office role based on a consistent Monday–Friday schedule (8:30 AM–5:00 PM),

Offering a strong base salary of 70-80K complemented by a competitive bonus program.
