King Earns Mail Preparation Certification at RESCO

Hudson, WI – October 18, 2010 - Jeremy King, an Estimator and Client Services Specialist at RESCO located in Hudson, Wisconsi,n recently earned his certification as a Quality Mail Preparation Specialist. The program, held at the Printing Industry of Minnesota offices in Roseville, MN, was organized and delivered through PIM and MFSA, the Mailing and Fulfillment Services Association, and was taught by George Heinrich of Denver, Colorado whose industry nickname is “The Postal Professor.”

An overview of the coursework presented and tested for this two-year certification included recognition of Postal rules and regulations, knowledge of quality mail piece design, understanding how the USPS processes and delivers mail, understanding mail discounts and delivery options and identifying problem identification. Attendees also learned classes of mail, shape-based processing, barcodes and automation, and about non-automation mailings.
