RESCO Named “Best of the Best” in Best Workplace in the Americas 2008 Competition
Hudson, WI – January 5th – RESCO, with facilities in Hudson and River Falls, Wisconsin has been acknowledged once again as a Best Workplace in the Americas by PIA/GATF, for their exemplary human resources practices. In addition, RESCO was also awarded the “Best of the Best” designation for 2008. RESCO Earns Multiple Awards Within The Printing Industry
RESCO received 12 “Star of Excellence” awards at the Printing Industry of Minnesota’s Annual Awards Banquet, held at the Earle Brown Center recently. PIM – the Printing Industry of Minnesota is the local chapter of PIA/GATF – the Printing Industry of America and the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation which is the national association representing the graphic arts and printing industry in America.

RESCO Partners with Kinnickinnic River Land Trust
Hudson, WI – March 23 – RESCO, with facilities in Hudson and River Falls, Wisconsin has partnered with the Kinnickinnic River Land Trust as a “Watershed Associate” member of the newly launched Corporate Council for the Kinni. The designation signifies that RESCO, believing in the sustainable mission for the KRLT, has contributed $1,000 to the organization for the protection of the Kinnickinnic River and its watershed.

RESCO increases contribution to United Way by over 50% in 2008!
Understanding that times are tough and getting tougher, the management and staff at RESCO decided to make a concerted effort to increase their collective contribution to United Way St. Croix Valley this year. The 2007 contribution to United Way was a little over $5,000. This year RESCO’s contribution has already exceeded $8,000. According to company CEO, Eric Strand, “The employees here realize that times are tough. They also know, with the economy, there will be fewer contributions to organizations like the United Way while the need for those not as fortunate will be greater than ever. They have more than risen to the occasion by increasing their support for United Way this year.” Read Full Release
Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody (CoC) Certification gained.
RESCO received FSC certification in February of 2009. FSC is recognized as the most rigorous and credible forest certification system internationally. RESCO’s processes and standards were thoroughly audited by Smartwood, a responsible forestry program of the Rainforest Alliance.
This certification enables RESCO to offer chain of custody for FSC certified paper - ensuring that the paper used comes from verifiably well-managed forests and reputable pulp producers and paper mills.

RESCO Gains Green Certification
RESCO completed a certification in the Great Printer Environmental Initiative. This is a certification program for printers administered through the Printing Industry of Minnesota, Inc. The Great Printer Environmental Initiative is the country’s longest-running certification program exclusively for printers. Read Full Release
