Unisource certifies RESCO as a respect™ printer
Unisource, the leading independent marketer and distributor of commercial printing and business imaging papers, packaging systems and facility supplies and equipment in North America, has certified RESCO as a member of its respect™ network of printers. “Green” paper stocks available to consumers as part of the program are made with:
- post-consumer, recycled fibers,
- wood fibers from responsibly managed forests and other certified sources, or
- a manufacturing process that uses a renewable energy source
In addition, respect™ certified printers actively promote:
- REFORESTATION attributes; FSC, SFI and/or PEFC Chain-of-Custody certification;
- RENEWABLE energy and utilization of manufacturing programs to safeguard resources: certification of Green e and/or Green Seal; and
- RECYCLED content: a minimum of 30% post-consumer recovered fiber, certified by the manufacturing mill and meeting EPA-recommended guidelines.
- RESCO encourages all of our customers to ask for a “Green Option Estimate” whenever placing an order for quality printing.
